CLASS OF 2026 SENIOR INFORMATION

SENIOR CLASS MEETING DATES (SUBJECT TO CHANGE. PLEASE CHECK BACK FREQUENTLY FOR UPDATES)

  • September 19 – Senior Sunrise Meeting (6:15am at Football Field)
  • October 10 – 8:00am in the Auditorium (Herff Jones Presentation: Cap and Gown/Grad Announcements)
  • December 12 – 12:30pm at the Cafeteria Patio
  • February 27 – 7:00am (Field Day Packets are Due)
  • March 13 - Senior Class Meeting (Field Day Activities 8am @ Football Field)
  • May TBA – 8:00am in the Food Court
    • All graduation materials, tickets, regalia, and information will be provided at this time….VERY IMPORTANT!! Be sure to check all obligations, library books, textbooks, technology fees, etc. in order to avoid delays getting everything you need for graduation.

*Senior Privilege Card holders will receive breakfast.
**All Seniors will receive breakfast.

If you are a senior that is off campus for part of the day, you are still responsible for attending all meetings. If you do not attend the meetings, you are responsible for following up with us to get the most up-to-date information.

  • 3rd - Homecoming Court Information Meeting (2:05pm in Room 1210)
  • 15th - Senior Bowling Night at Bowlero (6pm - 8pm)
  • 17th - Homecoming Dance Tickets Go on Sale
  • 17th – Senior Parent Night (6:00pm - 7:30pm in the GJHS Auditorium)
  • 18th - Senior Picture Retakes (FORMALS ONLY)
  • 19th - Senior Sunrise Meeting (Football Field at 6:15am)
  • 19th - Grade Bash Tickets Go on Sale (Mr. Townley's Room 1216)

OCTOBER

  • 1st - College Application and SSAR Help (Media Center 2:00pm - 2:45pm)
  • 8th - College Application and SSAR Help (Media Center 2:00pm - 2:45pm)
  • 10th - Senior Class Meeting 8:00am in the Auditorium (Herff Jones Presentation: Cap and Gown/Grad Announcements)
  • 10th - Homecoming Game (7:30pm vs Winter Haven)
  • 11th – Homecoming Dance – GJHS Gym
  • 15th - College Application and SSAR Help (Media Center 2:00pm - 2:45pm)
  • 22nd - College Application and SSAR Help (Media Center 2:00pm - 2:45pm)
  • 23th - Senior Panoramic Photo in Gym
  • 29th - College Application and SSAR Help (Media Center 2:00pm - 2:45pm)

  • 1st - Volunteer Hours earned before the 2025 - 2026 school year must be turned in or they will not be accepted.

  • 9th - Begin Organizing Field Day Teams and Sponsors

  • 2nd - Cap and Gown Picture Order Packets Available in Room 3209

  • 13th - Senior Class Meeting/Breakfast (Field Day on GJHS Football Field)

April

  • 1st - All Community Service Time Sheets for Graduation Recognition Due
  • 18th - Prom @ Bonnet Springs Park
  • 24th - Grad Bash at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure (must have a Senior Privilege Card to participate, cost of Grad Bash tickets not included in cost of card)

May

  • TBA– Final Senior Class Meeting (8:00am in the Food Court)
