GJHS BRIGHT FUTURES/ FINANCIAL AID NIGHT
Seniors and Senior Parents: Receive instruction to complete your Bright Futures and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with a certified advisor.

DATE: WEDNESDAY, December 11th
TIME: 6:00 - 8:00 PM
WHERE: GJHS MEDIA CENTER


Students and parents should create their FAFSA accounts to obtain their FSA ID prior to attending this event (it may take several days to receive your FSA ID after creating your FAFSA account).

WHAT TO BRING:
-School issued laptop
-Social Security Number of student & parent.
-Alien Registration Numbers (if you are not a US citizen).
-Parent & student federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.)
-Parent & student bank statements & record of investments (if applicable).
-Parent & student records of untaxed income (if applicable).
-An FSA ID to sign electronically (create one at studentaid.gov/fsaid).

Seniors: Need cash for college? Attend our Financial Aid Night on Wednesday, December 11th. You will be able to work with a certified advisor to complete your Bright Futures and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Make sure you bring your school-issued laptop, and you must create your FAFSA account ahead of time. Stop by Student Services if you have questions.
