CLASS OF 2027 SENIOR INFORMATION

SENIOR CLASS MEETING DATES (SUBJECT TO CHANGE. PLEASE CHECK BACK FREQUENTLY FOR UPDATES)

  • September 18* – Senior Sunrise Meeting (6:15am at Football Field)
  • October 23* – 8:00am in the Auditorium (Herff Jones Presentation: Cap and Gown/Grad Announcements)
  • November 13* – During 7th Period at the Cafeteria Patio
  • January 29 - 7:00am in the Cafeteria
  • March 12* - Senior Class Meeting (Field Day Activities 8am @ Football Field)
  • May TBD** – 8:00am in the Food Court
    • All graduation materials, tickets, regalia, and information will be provided at this time….VERY IMPORTANT!! Be sure to check all obligations, library books, textbooks, technology fees, etc. in order to avoid delays getting everything you need for graduation.

If you are a senior that is off campus for part of the day, you are still responsible for attending all meetings. If you do not attend the meetings, you are responsible for following up with us to get the most up-to-date information.

  • 8th - Homecoming Court Information Meeting (2:05pm in Room 1210)
  • 17th - Senior Picture Retakes (FORMALS ONLY | 2PM - 6PM | $15 Sitting Fee)
  • 17th – Senior Parent Night (6:00pm - 7:30pm in the GJHS Auditorium)
  • 18th - Senior Sunrise Meeting (Football Field at 6:15am)
  • 21st - Homecoming Dance Tickets Go On Sale During All Lunches

OCTOBER

  • 7th - College Application and SSAR Help (Media Center 2:00pm - 2:45pm)
  • 13th - FAFSA Night (6:00pm - 7:30pm in Media Center)
  • 14th - College Application and SSAR Help (Media Center 2:00pm - 2:45pm)
  • 21st - College Application and SSAR Help (Media Center 2:00pm - 2:45pm)
  • 22nd - Senior Panoramic Photo in Gym
  • 23rd - Senior Class Meeting 8:00am in the Auditorium (Herff Jones Presentation: Cap and Gown/Grad Announcements)

  • 24th – Homecoming Dance – GJHS Gym

JANUARY

  • 29th - Begin Organizing Field Day Teams and Sponsors

FEBRUARY

  • 2nd - Cap and Gown Picture Order Packets Available in Room 3209
  • 11th - Cap & Gown Pictures
  • 27th - Senior Field Day Packets Due

MARCH

  • 12th - Senior Field Day on GJHS Football Field (8:00am)

APRIL

  • 1st - All Community Service Time Sheets for Graduation Recognition Due
  • 9th - Prom @ Bonnet Springs Park
  • 23rd - Grad Bash at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure

MAY

  • TBD – Last Day for Seniors
  • TBD – Final Senior Class Meeting (8:00am in the Food Court)
